Everything you might want to know about how JumpLine Games works. If your question isn't answered here, get in touch and we'll reply by email.
Getting Started
No. There is no registration, no login, and no newsletter sign-up. Open the games library, pick a game, and play.
No. Every game listed here runs in the browser. There is no installer, no launcher, and no plugin to add.
Yes. Browsing and playing are free, and we never ask for payment details. The site is supported by advertising, which is how the collection stays open to everyone.
Use the search box on the All Games page — it matches game names, categories, and tags as you type. You can also filter by category, or click any tag to see related games. Filtered views have their own URLs, so you can bookmark or share them.
Games & Content
Their original developers do. JumpLine Games is an aggregation platform: we write listings and reviews, but the games are created and hosted by third parties, and all titles, artwork, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Full details are in our Third-Party Content Disclaimer.
A new tab opens on the website that hosts the game. From that point you are on the developer's site, subject to their terms and privacy policy rather than ours.
There are currently 83 games across 7 categories: Puzzle, Arcade, Action, Strategy, Adventure, Simulation, and Sports. Each game also carries a few descriptive tags, which you can use as a shortcut to similar titles.
Our own editorial team. Each detail page includes a description, an editor's verdict, how-to-play steps, tips, and points to note. These are our opinions after playing the game, not marketing copy from the developer — and your experience may differ.
We aim to list only games appropriate for a general audience, and the site is not directed to children under 13. That said, the games are third-party content that can change without notice, so we recommend parents review a game before letting younger children play. If you find something inappropriate, please tell us.
We add games regularly, typically a small batch each week. The "Updated" date on every card and detail page shows when that listing was last reviewed.
Technical & Devices
Most games are built for touch as well as mouse and keyboard. Where a game needs specific controls, the "How to Play" section on its detail page says so.
Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari works. If a game misbehaves, updating your browser or disabling extensions that block scripts usually resolves it.
Try a hard refresh first, then check whether an ad blocker or privacy extension is blocking the game host. Because games are served from third-party sites, an outage on their end can also be the cause. If it stays broken, report it with the game name and your browser and we'll look into the listing.
That depends entirely on the game. Some store progress in your browser's local storage on the developer's site, others start fresh each session. We do not store any game progress ourselves.
Advertising & Privacy
Advertising is what pays for hosting and for the time we spend reviewing games, so we can keep access free. Ads are selected and delivered by third-party partners, including Google, and their presence is not an endorsement of the advertised product.
Yes. You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google at myadcenter.google.com/personalizationoff, and from other participating vendors at optout.aboutads.info. You will still see ads, but they will no longer be based on your browsing activity. Our Privacy Policy lists every opt-out option.
We collect what you send us voluntarily (for example a contact form message), plus standard usage data and cookie-based data used for analytics and advertising. We do not share your name or email address with advertising partners. The full breakdown, including retention and your rights, is in our Privacy Policy.
Feedback & Submissions
Email [email protected] with the game name, your browser, and what happened. Steps to reproduce the problem help a lot.
Yes, we welcome submissions from developers. Send us a link to the game, a short description, and a thumbnail via the contact page. We review every submission but cannot guarantee a listing.
Email [email protected] describing the material and the basis of your claim. We review these requests and remove or amend the listing where appropriate — see the Intellectual Property section of our Terms of Service.
Please do. Suggestions from players are one of the main ways we decide what to review next — just send us the name or a link through the contact page.
